Doors open at 2:30 pm. In the spirit of Symphony Space’s legendary “Wall to Wall” events, audience members may come and go as they please, subject to seating availability, throughout the day.

*We always work with the highest calibre faculty, including clinicians such as Jo-Michael Scheibe, Jerry Blackstone, Karen Kennedy, Joshua Habermann, Tim Seelig, Brad Holmes, Jonathan Talberg, Cheryl Frazes-Hill, Joe Miller, Andre Thomas, and more.

**”PREMIERE! A Massed Choir Event” is a COA original. Our Premiere! program gives you the opportunity to work directly with a known composer. During the event, participating choirs will sing for each other, talk about the creative process, and discuss the lyrics / poetry integral to the song, the music and everything else that went into the composition to be premiered. Then, in massed choir format, the participating choirs will rehearse the piece, followed by a PREMIERE! Recording Session.

IFCM APCC World Choral Expo 2015



The International Federation for Choral Music Asia Pacific Choral Council presents 1st IFCM World Choral Expo.
The Expo will feature among other things:
  1. Grand Opening Ceremony with a song of friendship and peace.
  2. IFCM Asia Pacific Choral Summit
  3. Lectures by choral experts to instruct and teach aspiring conductors.
  4. Performances from 20-22 invited choirs and over 35 concerts displaying diversity in nations, regions, styles of choral music and singing skills to promote cultural exchange.
  5. City Performances will be conducted in various spaces in Macau, by Choirs from Around the world, to spread music, joy and communicate hope and peace.
  6. Choral competitions to promote participation and expand knowledge of choirs. Judges will be world renowned conductors and will also provide feedback for choirs.
  7. Composition competition will be held for new composers, to promote and increase awareness of multi-ethnic, multi-style chorus with rich repertoires.
  8. Over 100 booths will exhibit the diversity in culture, choral institutions, choirs, choral music, equipment, and all choral related materials.
  9. The Awards Ceremony / Grand Finale of the Expo
