via IFTTT #EmpowerYourVoice Vlog 36: Connecting the Dots In Your Range QUESTION: What can I do to develop better control when switching between the different registers (or segments of my range) within my voice? (lower, middle, upper) GOAL: When singing through your registers make sure it's one consistent sound with no breaks. EXERCISE: Try yawning from your lower register to your upper. 1. Relax and take a deep breath. 2. Try and yawn (listen to the video and try and imitate it.) As you approach your middle voice keep your neck relaxed as you work through your range. 3. Yawn again. This time make sure your pallette is lifted. And your jaw is dropped. 4. Yawn again. This time make sure you use your stomach/diaphragm muscles to support the sound as it travels up. 5. Do this every time you warm up. You will notice a difference over time. Work on it. Keep trying to find the path AND make it smooth...trust me, it's there. #CliftonRossIII #TeamCliff #VocalTips #VoiceTeacher #Range #Singers #SBAllstars CliftonRossbooking@gmail.com
