Remember I told you that the Mormon Tabernacle Choir concert is NOT your grandmas choir anymore? Well she came anyway and LOVED it!! You see that fine gentleman behind me? That's Ryan Murphy. You see that vein poppin' out of his neck?? That means he's puttin' in work people!! It's like THUNDER!! I stand at the sidelines before my solo's and watch he and Mack Wilberg trade off conducting 30+ songs between them. I love these men. They teach me what it means to work tirelessly on your craft and take NO shortcuts.They exit the stage with sweat running off their backs. Yes my fellow saints. This is no vacation tour. Choir members, Orchestra & all those behind the scenes, put everything in these concerts and leave it all on the stage. Why do we do it? To praise the heavens in the best way we know how, and to bring joy to the saints and all those who come to partake.
