RIP MARÍLIA PÊRA (Rio de Janeiro, 22 de janeiro de 1943 – Rio de Janeiro, 5 de dezembro de 2015) __________________________________ A música clássica e a grande dama da dramaturgia brasileira, MARÍLIA PÊRA, sempre foram próximas desde que, aos 4 anos, iniciou seus estudos de piano que continuaram pelos 10 anos seguintes. Nos seus 58 anos de carreira foram várias as cantoras que a atriz interpretou, mas talvez a mais marcante foi Maria Callas na peça “Master Class” em 96, baseada numa série de aulas na Juilliard School NY entre 71 e 72. Marília sempre estudou canto e se apaixonou por ópera e em especial por Callas. Viajava o mundo para assistir grandes montagens. Era impressionante a semelhança física e até mesmo de personalidade entre as duas artistas. Marilia always studied singing and was a huge opera lover and Callas fan. She traveled around the world to attend major opera houses.
