BEMIDJI -- The annual holiday concert featuring the Bemidji High School choirs will have an international flair this week, thanks in part to one of its members.
Jacob Friis-Hasché, 16, a native of Copenhagen, Denmark, is among 13 foreign exchange students enrolled at BHS this semester. After a fellow exchange student signed him up for the fall musical, "The Wizard of Oz," Jacob met and got to know the high school's music director, Chris Fettig, and Jacob opted to join choir, even auditioning and being selected for a spot on the 16-member Madrigal Choir.
