Dave Crookston: Amherst school choir delivers amazing performance

“A Home Alone Christmas,” presented Nov. 20 by the Amherst Elementary School Choir in the Jackson Performing Arts Center, was the most entertaining half-hour of the week, if not the entire month.
If you enjoy choral music and the pristine voices of children, the concert was for you.
The 93-voice choir, under the direction of Cynthia L. Grove, provided a demonstration of well-rehearsed choral singing and the rollicking good time of a pajama party, in keeping with the “Home Alone” theme.
