The Ames Choral Society opens its 50th season on Sunday, Dec. 14, at 3 p.m. with “Sweet Singing,” a holiday choral concert featuring music of the winter season and the holidays.
Directed by Steve Hoifeldt, with accompaniment by Barb Evenson, the concert will be held at St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church, 209 Colorado Ave., in Ames.
Tickets are $12 for adults and free for children under 12.
