Muscle Shoals, ALA. (WHNT) – This week’s Tools for Teachers honor goes to Christina Booker, a music teacher at Muscle Shoals Middle School. She received 319 dollars for supplies during WHNT’s surprise classroom visit.
Despite the fact she’s only in her second year as a teacher, Ms. Booker is already changing the landscape at this school by injecting a fresh dose of enthusiasm into the choir programs, getting middle school kids excited about vocal performance. It was the mother of one of these students who nominated Booker for this award.
