Young Plymouth brass musicians perform at choir anniversary concert ( Plymouth Herald)

A PAIR of young brass musicians performed as guest soloists at a special anniversary concert.

Ben Marks, aged 15, and 12-year-old Oliver Marsland, played at the event to mark the 40th anniversary of the Burraton Male Voice Choir at Wesley Methodist Church in Saltash.

Ben played The Swan on Baritone horn, while Oliver gave a rendition of The Prince of Denmark’s March on trumpet.

Both boys were accompanied on piano by their music teacher, Ross Shaddick.
