It was celebration time for Cor Merched Ynysybwl Ladies’ Choir who recently staged a special concert marking their 30th anniversary.
Held at Capel Noddfa in Ynysybwl with more than 150 people attending, the choir entertained the audience with a wide range of songs, including traditional, Welsh and standards from the musicals.
The choir was supported by special guests Heather Main and Trerobart Primary School.
Heather, a mezzo-soprano from Ynysybwl, was accompanied by her mother, Margaret Main, and showed off her fine repertoire finishing with an excellent medley of songs from Phantom of the Opera.
