DECATUR, Alabama - Dr. Ricky Dillard coached Whoopi Goldberg in choir leading for "Sister Act II," and Dillard's Stellar Award-winning New Generation Chorale was the featured choir for Steve Martin's "Leap of Faith."
On Oct. 11, 2014, Dillard will coach area choir directors and singers in an afternoon workshop in Decatur, Ala.
Dillard will teach Church Choir 101 for choir singers and directors in a workshop at the United Pentecostal Jubilee House of Prayer, 311 Memorial Drive N.W., on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2014, from noon to 5 p.m.
Then the workshop choir will move to the Princess Theater, 112 Second Ave. N.E., for an evening concert that begins at 6 p.m.
