The Aiken Choral Society has been awarded a $1,500 grant by the South Carolina Arts Commission for the 2014 fiscal year.
The support will allow the organization to achieve their goals of entertaining and educating through music.
The community will benefit from the cultural addition to the areas surrounding Aiken and will bring visitors also. Monies spent to promote events will be an economic benefit.
