Howard University Gospel Choir “live” recording sparks special reunion ( Hamil R. Harris)

Four decades ago there was a wall between classical and gospel musicians on the campus of Howard University. Students who wanted to join a new gospel choir on campus were warned that participation in the group could jeopardize their futures in the Fine Arts Department.
